I know my last post was about being thankful for the people in our lives, but since today is Thanksgiving, I feel the need to express our gratitude once again.
This past week I baked 70 pumpkin rolls. Yes, you read that right, SEVENTY pumpkin rolls!! And I still have more to make! When I initially decided to sell pumpkin rolls I was expecting maybe 30 or 40. And while it was a crazy busy week, I'm really glad that I did it. And thankful for all the people who bought the pumpkin rolls. Hopefully you all are enjoying them today!
As I mentioned before, we're starting an adoption puzzle to keep track of the support coming in for the adoption. And, here it is! I was excited about the idea, but putting it together has been really exciting. Each $10 we receive from a donation or fundraiser, we will add a piece to the puzzle. It was a bit overwhelming at first to think about selling all of these pieces, but as I put together the pieces from the pumpkin roll sale, it seems more manageable. I'll be posting picture updates of the puzzle so you can see our fundraising progress.
Going back to Thanksgiving, we have a lot to be thankful for this year. Of course the pending adoption, but also family, my new job, renewed friendships, and all of you! May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and realize how much we all are truly blessed!
