Official!

Whew, long day! The last year has led up to this day... And I'm not talking about the election. When we said yes to our agency about Keragan's placement, we made a commitment to her and to ourselves. That didn't change when we brought her home, and it's not going to change now that the court says we are legally her parents, but it's still nice to know that the legal part of this is over. It was a nice "ceremony" too. I really wasn't too sure what to expect, as all of the paperwork was already completed. Our attorney and the judge basically asked us questions regarding Kera's adoption and made sure that we understand what we are doing. We had some family come to support us, which was great, and the whole thing kind of flew by. Keragan missed her nap, so I was a bit worried that she would be fussy, but she did great. She even stayed awake while we went for an early dinner.
In some ways it seems like this is the end of the chapter... Yet there's much more to come!
