Phase 1

It's finished!!!  The first part of the nursery... the mural!  Well, at least the painting part of it.  I'm excited about how it turned out.  I must give credit for the idea to this website, although please don't compare them, because mine isn't near as nice as that one.  :)  I still have to add some owls, but I think I'm just going to use decals, so that shouldn't take much work.  

When I decided to go with the theme of owls for the nursery, I really had no idea how popular owls had become.  Maybe because I wasn't really looking before, but now I see owls EVERYWHERE.  Pillows, wall hangings, quilts, clocks, trash cans, notebooks, clothes... it's crazy!  Even World Market had a huge section of gift wrap, gift bags and cards, all owl themed.  So much fun sorting through it all!!

Next up... curtains and a drawer knobs for the dresser!
