Trick or treat!

Im sitting in the garage on this cold rainy night, waiting for the sporadic trick or treaters to come for candy, so what better time to update the blog!  We're having a great fall, with Keragan getting to do a lot of things for the first time.  Playing in the leaves, carving a pumpkin, trick or treating.  It's fun to see her figure things out.

She had her first school field trip to a pumpkin patch.  I got to go along, and was excited to see her interact with her classmates, however she spent most of the time chasing the dog they had!  But we had fun picking out a pumpkin and playing in the grain box.

With the pumpkin, she was amazed when she could take off the top and stick her hand inside.  And once we started playing with the guts, there was no stopping her!  She now gets so excited when she sees her "pupin."

Trick or treating has been interesting as well.  She loves butterflies, so I dresse her as a butterfly.  We first went to a nursing home.  She loved all of the attention, and kept saying thank you for the candy, but then kept wanting to give candy back to people.  Hopefully she'll always want to share her Halloween candy.  :)

This morning at school they had a parade and tonight she's trick or treating in our neighborhood with her cousins.

Kera's vocabulary is exploding, which is both fun and exhausting.  She literally starts talking immediately when she wakes up and doesn't stop until she goes to bed.  And she still talks in her sleep sometimes.  But it's adorable, and so much fun.  She's so dramatic, and so even her babbling nonsense just takes on so much more meaning with her expressions.  The dramatics are fun now, but it could be scary in about 10 years!
